Refund Policy
When we refund, where your terms are written down, and how to reach us if something isn't right.

The plain principle
Every Web Everything project starts with a written quote or agreement. It says what we'll do, what it costs, and what happens if the work stops partway or isn't right. That document is where your refund terms live, and this page explains how we handle them.
Our principle is simple: you shouldn't pay for work we didn't do, and if something we did is wrong, we'll fix it.
If we can't start or finish the work
If we can't start or finish the work in your quote, you won't pay for the part we didn't do. Your quote or agreement says how that's calculated.
When something isn't right
If something we did is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it. If we can't make it right, your quote or agreement sets out what we refund.
Monthly work
Search & Ads is from $450 a month. The fee depends on your ad budget. It's month to month, and how to stop it is in your agreement.
Upstream upkeep is $49 a month for a doctor and $99 a month for a practice. It's optional, the first charge is 31 days after your order, and you can stop it anytime from the "Manage your upkeep" link in your Upstream emails. It stops at the end of the month you've paid for. We don't prorate a partial month, and we don't charge again after you stop.
Prices
- Websites: a written quote after one call.
- Search & Ads: from $450 a month. The fee depends on your ad budget. Month to month.
- Repair: a fixed price once we've seen the problem.
- Marketing Plan: a one-time review of what each channel brings in and costs, and what to fix, stop and try next. Price on inquiry.
- Upstream (medical practices): $1,500, one time, for a practice with one office and up to two providers. Add $350 for each additional provider and $500 for each additional office. $750, one time, for one doctor's own records. Optional upkeep: $49 a month for a doctor, $99 a month for a practice.
- Listings Cleanup (dental and mental-health practices, law firms and financial advisors): $1,500, one time. $3,000 with verified profiles for up to three named practitioners. Larger groups are quoted. No monthly fee.
Any refund is calculated against what you actually paid.
Upstream
The free Listing Snapshot costs nothing, so there's nothing to refund. You can cancel an Upstream order within 7 days of purchase for a full refund; email us or reply to your order confirmation. After 7 days, the plain principle applies: if we can't start or finish our part (the audit, your record, the report or the guided cleanup), you won't pay for the part we didn't do. Because you make each change on your own accounts, and listing sites and registries take their own time, a listing site's delay or refusal isn't by itself grounds for a refund; tell us and we'll work through it with you. Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription is billed by its provider and refunded, if at all, under that provider's terms.
Reports bought before they moved
Web Everything no longer sells one-time reports. The Search & Ask Workup and the Answer Kit are sold by AEOptim, a Web Everything company, at aeoptim.com, and AEOptim's terms, including its refund terms, cover them. For a report bought from Web Everything before it moved, email hello@webeverything.com.
How to ask for a refund or a correction
Email hello@webeverything.com and tell us what happened. It helps if you include:
- your name and the email address you use with us;
- your practice or firm name; and
- a short note on the problem.
You can also call us at 313-395-8171.
How refunds are paid
An approved refund goes back the way you paid. A card refund goes back to the same card through Stripe, our payment processor, and usually shows on your statement within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Before you file a chargeback
If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. A quick email almost always lets us fix the problem or issue a refund faster than a card dispute would, and it keeps things clear on both sides. A person reads every message.
