Listings for medical practices
Upstream: your listings, fixed at the source
Your practice is listed on dozens of websites: Google, Healthgrades, insurance directories and the federal provider registry. They rarely agree, and the AI assistants patients ask read all of them. Upstream fixes them in the right order, starting with the records the others copy from. You do it with an agent that runs in your own Claude, working with ours, and a person on our team checks every change.

01 / Common situations
Your practice, listed ten different ways
An old address on one site. A doctor who left last year, still listed on another. A new provider nobody added. The practice name spelled three different ways, and a phone number that rings an office you closed.
Nobody set out to leave it that way. Each site was filled in once, by whoever had time, and many of them copy each other. Fix one by hand and the old details can come back from the site it copied.
That's why Upstream starts at the source.
02 / You, your agent and ours
You fix it together, with an agent in your own AI assistant
Upstream isn't a dashboard or a service that works out of sight. It's an agent that runs in your own AI assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, on a computer at your practice, connected to ours.
You
You approve your practice's one accurate record, and you make each change on your own accounts.
Your agent, in your Claude or ChatGPT
It knows your record and your Listing Map. It opens each listing site with you, shows you what's wrong, and has the correct details ready.
Our agent and guides
Our connector gives your agent a step-by-step guide for every listing site, kept current by us, and the order to work in.
A person on our team
Someone at Web Everything reviews each correction before you make it, and confirms it after.
The connection uses MCP, the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to connect to outside tools. It sends your agent our guides. Your accounts stay yours.
03 / The Listing Map
Fix the sources and the rest follow.
Every medical practice is listed in the same places, and they feed each other in a fixed order. We map all of them for your practice, then fix them from the top down.
-
Wave 1 · The registries
The federal provider registry (NPPES), Medicare enrollment (PECOS), your state license and CAQH, now DataSpring.
-
Wave 2 · Where patients and AI look first
Google, your own website, Healthgrades, Doximity, Yelp, Apple Maps and Bing.
-
Wave 3 · The health directories
Zocdoc, WebMD and Vitals, the data companies that feed maps and apps, and your specialty board's directory.
-
Wave 4 · Hospitals and insurers
Your hospital affiliations and the insurance plans you take.
They copy the waves above
Sharecare, Healthline and Medical News Today copy Healthgrades. U.S. News copies Doximity. The NPI lookup sites copy the federal registry.
About 25 places to fix, and more than a dozen that correct themselves once the sources are right.

05 / The deliverables
What you get
A free Listing Snapshot.
Before you buy anything: what's wrong in the public record, where, and what to fix first.
The full audit.
Every listing site on your Listing Map, for the practice and every provider: which details are wrong, which listings are duplicates, and which sites copy which.
One accurate record.
Your practice name, each office's address and local phone number, and each provider's name, credentials and NPI, written once and approved by you.
Your Upstream agent.
It runs in your Claude or ChatGPT with your record, your audit and our guide for each listing site, and it works through the Listing Map with you, one site at a time. You make every change, so every change comes from the listing's owner.
A person checking every change.
Someone on our team reviews each correction before you make it, and confirms it after.
A 30-day re-check.
We look again a month later and show you the before and after, site by site.
06 / Why it matters
AI repeats what your listings say
In a 2023 JAMA study, 81% of physicians listed in more than one of five large insurers' directories had conflicting addresses or specialties from one directory to the next.
AI assistants read those same sources. They compare your website, your Google profile and the directories in your field, and they repeat what they find. In rater8's 2026 patient survey, nearly half of patients had used AI to research providers, and 66% of those had seen wrong provider information.
Google says you don't need special files or code to show up in its AI answers. Clear pages and accurate listings do the work. Upstream handles the listings.
07 / The rules
The registries already have deadlines
Your NPI record (NPPES)
Report changes within 30 days, under 45 CFR 162.410.
Medicare enrollment (PECOS)
Report a practice location change within 30 days, under 42 CFR 424.516.
Your Michigan license
Report an address change within 30 days. Other states set their own rules.
CAQH, now DataSpring
Re-attest every 120 days.
Insurer directories
Plans verify their directories every 90 days, under the No Surprises Act.
The registries are yours to update. Upstream prepares every field, and you or your provider confirms and submits.
08 / The steps
How it works
Some things we can't hurry. Google and some listing sites verify changes by phone, mail or email to the practice, and some review each change on their own schedule.

We check the public record and tell you what we found.
The audit.
Once you order, we map every listing site for your practice and every provider.
Your record.
We write it, and you correct it and approve it.
The fix, source first.
You and your agent work through the Listing Map, and a person on our team checks each change. In Southeast Michigan, we can be there.
The re-check at 30 days.
You get the before and after. Upkeep after that is optional.

Monthly upkeep, optional. $49 a month for a doctor, $99 a month for a practice. We re-check your listings every month, flag anything that changed, and walk you through the fix.
- The cleanup has no monthly fee. Upkeep is optional, and you can stop it anytime.
- Later changes, like a new provider or a move, are covered by upkeep, or quoted in writing before any work.
- Some listing sites charge for premium listings. We tell you which ones before you decide, and the listing site bills you directly. We never resell them or mark them up.
- You own your site, domain, accounts and listings.
- Nothing goes live under your name until you approve it.
- We don't guarantee rankings or AI mentions. Nobody honestly can.

11 / Questions
FAQ
What does Upstream cost?
$1,500, one time, for a practice with one office and up to two providers. Each additional provider is $350 and each additional office is $500. One doctor's own records are $750. Monthly upkeep is optional.
What's in the free Listing Snapshot?
We check the public record for your practice and your providers: the federal registry, your website and the public listing pages. You get what's wrong, where, and what to fix first. It costs nothing and there's no obligation.
What is the Upstream agent?
An agent that runs in your own AI assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, on a computer at your practice. It's set up with your record and your Listing Map, and it connects to our agent and guides, so it knows the next step on every listing site. You stay in charge of every change.
What do I need to run it?
A paid plan of Claude or ChatGPT, from $20 a month, on a computer at the practice. We help you set it up, and in Southeast Michigan we may be able to sit with your office manager in person.
Who makes the changes, you or me?
You do, with your agent and a person on our team. We do the audit, write the record and set up the agent. You make each change on your own accounts, so every change comes from the listing's owner, and we check each one.
What do you need from me?
Someone to approve the record, time to work through the list, and a quick reply when a listing site sends a verification code to the practice.
How long does it take?
Most fixes land within a few weeks, and we re-check at 30 days. The registries and some listing sites take longer to accept a change, and we can't hurry them.
Do you see patient information?
No. Upstream works on your public listings only. It never opens patient records, patient messages or reviews.
How is this different from Birdeye or Yext?
They send your details out through their own connections, on a yearly plan. Upstream fixes the sources those sites copy from, on your own accounts, and nothing of ours has to stay switched on. Our comparison page goes company by company.
Can you promise AI will name us?
We don't guarantee rankings or AI mentions. Nobody honestly can.
