A one-time project

Listings Cleanup: your listings, matched to one correct record

Listings Cleanup is a one-time Web Everything project for dental and mental-health practices, law firms and financial advisors. Medical practices have their own service, Upstream. We research where your listings are wrong, write one accurate record of your practice or firm and put it on your own website. Then we build you an agent that works through every directory that matters in your field, while a person on our team checks each correction. We check again at 30 days.

Not sure your listings are the problem? See what AI says about you with AEOptim's Free AI Check.

01 / Common situations

What's going on now

An old address on one directory. A dentist, therapist or partner who left two years ago, still listed on another. Three versions of the same bio, and a phone number that rings at the front desk of an office you closed. Nobody at the practice set out to leave it that way. Each site was filled in once, by whoever had time, and never looked at again.

It's more work than it looks. A practice or firm is listed on more sites than anyone in the office has counted, and each one has its own form, its own rules and its own way of verifying a change.

Patients and clients notice. So do Google and the AI assistants, which compare what those sites say before they repeat any of it.

02 / The deliverables

What you get

  1. The research.

Before anything changes, we find every listing that's wrong: which directories, which facts, which duplicates, and which ones Google and the AI assistants lean on in your field. You get the list, in order.

  2. One accurate record.

Who you are, what you do, where you are, your hours and phone numbers, who works there, and the insurance plans, fees or matter types you take, written once and checked with you.

  3. That record on your own website.

On a page you control, so every other listing has something correct to match.

  4. A cleanup agent, built for your practice.

It's set up with your record and the research, and it works through the list with you, one listing at a time, preparing each correction to match your record. Your Google Business Profile and the directories that matter in your field end up saying the same thing, with duplicate and outdated listings merged or closed where the directory allows it. You run it, so every change comes from the listing's owner, and you keep it for the next time something changes.

  5. A person watching the work.

Someone on our team oversees the cleanup and checks every correction against your record.

  6. Verified practitioner profiles, on the $3,000 project.

For up to three named practitioners: a bio, their credentials, and matching profiles on the sites where patients and clients look people up.

  7. A 30-day re-check.

We look again a month later and show you the before and after, listing by listing.

03 / Why it matters

How AI reads this

AI assistants don't take one site's word for it. They read your website, your Google Business Profile and the directories in your field, and they compare. When those sources agree, an assistant can repeat your facts with some confidence. When they disagree on your address, your hours or who works there, it may get them wrong, or recommend someone else.

AI tools repeat what they find. If your insurance list is out of date, that's what they repeat. In rater8's 2026 patient survey, nearly half of patients had used AI to research providers, and 66% of those had seen wrong provider details, including insurance.

Google says you don't need special files or code to show up in its AI answers. Clear pages and accurate listings do the work. Listings Cleanup is the accurate-listings half.

04 / What gets corrected

By field

Dental practices.

Your Google Business Profile, Healthgrades, Zocdoc if you're on it, and the other directories patients use, matched to your site: offices, hours, providers, and the plans you take, written the way they appear on a patient's card. Insurers' own directories are updated by your office through each plan; we give you the list of what to send.

We don't place ad pixels on pages that collect patient information, and we sign a BAA whenever our work touches PHI.

Mental-health practices.

Your profiles on the directories clients use to find a therapist, matched to your site: who you see, how you work, telehealth states, insurance or self-pay, and whether you have openings. A clinician who has left comes off everywhere.

Any profile text we write points anyone in crisis to 988 or 911 first.

Financial advisors.

Your Google Business Profile and advisor directories, matched to your site and to your regulatory record. Your Form ADV, IAPD and BrokerCheck records are changed only through your own filings, so we make everything else agree with them, never the other way around.

Profile wording goes through your compliance review before it's published. It's built to stay inside your SEC, state or FINRA rules, and you approve every word.

05 / Honest fit

Who it's for, and who it isn't

It's a fit if:

  • You've moved, added or closed an office, or someone has joined or left.
  • You've changed your name, your phone number, or the plans or fees you take.
  • Most of your business comes from referrals. People referred to you still look you up before they call, and this is what they find.
  • You want a fixed price and a finished job, with nothing to renew.

It isn't a fit if:

  • Your listings already agree everywhere. AEOptim's Free AI Check, or a look at your own Google Business Profile, will tell you. If the listings are already clean, we'll say so.
  • You want ongoing search and ads work. That's Search & Ads, which keeps the listings current month after month.

06 / The steps

How it works

Some things we can't hurry. Google and some directories verify changes by phone, mail or email to the practice, and some review each change on their own schedule.

  1. A call and a written price.

We look at where you're listed today and tell you which of the two prices fits, and which directories, if any, charge for a premium listing.

  2. The research.

We find every listing that's wrong and put the list in order.

  3. The record.

We write it; you correct it and approve it. It goes on your site.

  4. The cleanup.

We set up your agent and you run it, directory by directory, while a person on our team checks each correction.

  5. The re-check at 30 days.

You get the before and after.

Price and terms

PriceWhat it covers

$1,500, one time

for the practice or firm. A solo practice is the $1,500 project.

$3,000

with verified profiles for up to three named practitioners. Groups with more than three are quoted in writing before anything starts.

  1. No monthly fee. Nothing renews.
  2. Some directories charge for premium listings. We tell you which ones before you decide, we pass those fees through at cost, and we never mark them up.
  3. You own your site, domain, accounts and listings.
  4. Nothing goes live under your name until you approve it.
  5. We don't guarantee rankings or AI mentions. Nobody honestly can.

08 / Questions

FAQ

What does Listings Cleanup cost?

$1,500, one time. It's $3,000 with verified profiles for up to three named practitioners, and larger groups are quoted. There's no monthly fee.

Is there anything else I'd pay for?

Only premium directory listings, if you want them. We name those fees before you decide, pass them through at cost, and never mark them up.

How long does it take?

Most fixes land within a few weeks, and we re-check at 30 days. Some directories take longer to accept a change, and we can't hurry them.

Who does the cleanup, you or me?

Both. We do the research, write the record and build the agent. You run the agent, so every change comes from the listing's owner, and a person on our team checks each correction as it goes.

What do you need from me?

Someone to check and approve the record, time to run the agent through the list, and a quick reply when a directory sends a verification code to the practice.

Who owns the listings afterward?

You do. You own your site, domain, accounts and listings.

We have nine providers. What happens past three?

You get a written quote before anything starts. The $3,000 project covers up to three named practitioners.

Can you change my BrokerCheck or state bar listing?

Only you can. Those records change through your own filings or your bar, and we make everything else agree with them.
